Goldan Glenn Goldan began his real estate career in 1976 and has successfully owned and operated five real estate brokerage and two property management companies in California. His success consistently put his brokerage in the top 10% in both volume and service in Century 21’s worldwide system. Glenn’s experience has been broad, from brokerage to commercial real estate development, leasing and financing. In 1986 Glenn launched ReProp Financial, a private small balance commercial mortgage banking company. Its niche is blending collateral and credit analysis to fund loans which are just beyond the reach of traditional institutional lenders. Since inception, ReProp Financial has underwritten, placed, and managed its real estate financing on behalf of its private investors. Today with ReProp Financial as Glenn’s sole business venture, the company has transitioned to a structured financing model for its portfolio growth and is developing funding capacity in all states. Glenn remains active in the mortgage banking community having served as Vice President and Legislative Chair for the California Trust Deed Broker’s Association and Legislative Chair, Vice President and President for the California Mortgage Association. He currently leads the Commercial, Construction and Pool Managers Focus Groups for CMA and serves on its Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association. Glenn and his wife Shelle and daughter Hannah have been very active members of their community and are especially involved in youth sports, Humboldt Sponsors and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). Glenn currently chairs the Coastal Division Board of Directors for Umpqua Bank, and has served on the Board of Directors of Eureka Rotary and the Eureka Historical Preservation Commission; chaired the Redevelopment Advisory Board for the City of Eureka as well as the Private Industry Council for Humboldt County; and, has been president of the Eureka/Humboldt Economic Development Corporation. Susan Diehl McCarthy Ms. Diehl McCarthy joined ReProp in April 2004. Prior to joining ReProp, she worked for nearly two decades at community-based banks, spending the last 15 years in lending. In her last commercial banking position, Susan developed and maintained the largest loan portfolio in her region by devising new niche opportunities. She was responsible for financial and risk analysis, and underwriting of all types of borrowers - small and larger commercial companies, individuals and trusts. After a brief stint with a regional affordable housing developer, Susan returned to her commercial lending roots, taking a position with ReProp Financial. She is currently a member of the board of the Arcata Economic Development Corporation, and a Past President. Susan has been married for 15 years to Ralph and is a proud supporter of her stepson, Shane, in Special Olympics. Her personal interests include singing, agility training with her standard poodle Nellie, coffee roasting, golf, and photography. Jean Gillmore Ms. Gillmore has worked closely with Glenn Goldan for over 11 years. Prior to coming to work for ReProp, Jean worked in the real estate industry. She has been a full-charge bookkeeper for numerous diverse industries from property management companies to restaurants and enjoys working directly with customers. Jean enjoys watching baseball, gardening, traveling with her husband, John, and collecting Disney memorabilia. She treasures the time she spends with her son, Ryan, when he is home from college. Rafael Hoyos Rafael joined ReProp in October 2006 and has assumed a variety of responsibilities including management of operations as well as investor relations. Before coming to ReProp, Rafael worked for Umpqua Bank, a northwestern regional bank internationally recognized for its innovative company culture, marketing and store merchandizing. Rafael’s focus at Umpqua was customer relations and became the leading Sales Associate for Umpqua’s California banking operations collecting numerous awards in the process. Having made his way west from Chicago, Rafael has now made a place for himself and his family in Humboldt County. He graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in International Studies in 2004. The most recent addition to Rafael’s family is his son Diego Alexander. Rafael is active in the community coaching soccer to kids at the Under-14 level, refereeing, and of course playing too. Garth Gundersen ReProp Financial’s newest addition, Garth Gundersen, recently joined ReProp and returned to his hometown in Humboldt County. Garth brings more than seven years of lending experience working in California and most recently, Washington. Prior to joining ReProp, Garth developed and managed a team of specialized loan consultants in the east side Seattle market for a top rated mortgage bank; concentrating on production growth, cost efficiency, and customer service. While in California’s North Valley, Garth concentrated on sourcing all types of residential mortgages through a broad network of referral partnerships. Garth started his lending career in credit and account management for a finance company. Garth enjoys many miscellaneous outdoor activities and spending time with his wife Amy and young daughter Makenna. |
